Michael joined The Sawaya Law Firm in January of 2020 and is a member of the pre-litigation team. His cases include general negligence, automobile and trucking collisions, and premises liability. He is a member of the bars of the State of Colorado and State of Wyoming, and is a member of the Denver Bar Association, Adams Broomfield Bar Association, and the Colorado Trial Lawyers Association.
Michael is a native of Colo. Springs, Colo. and earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Colorado State University. Thereafter, Michael moved to Arizona to obtain his law degree from Arizona Summit Law School. Although he spent most of his law school career in Arizona, Michael moved back to Colorado to finish at the University of Denver Sturm College of Law.
During law school, Michael gained experience in a wide variety of legal areas as a legal assistant at firms in Arizona and Colorado. He also gained experience as a volunteer mediator at several justice courts throughout Maricopa County in Arizona. In Colorado, he worked for a personal injury law firm that specializes in railroader injury law and served as a fellow judicial law clerk to the Honorable Theresa Slade and Honorable Michael Spear of the Eighteenth Judicial District Court. After his clerkship experience, Michael continued to grow his network with several lawyers in different areas of law all over the Denver Metro area. He gained vast experience with several law firms and began to lay the foundation for the creation of his own law practice.
In 2016, Michael launched Michael D. Reinhardt, P.C. Initially, he handled a broad range of legal matters with general practice such as auto accidents, misdemeanor bond hearings, estate planning, probate administrations, guardianships, business formations, debt settlements, and bankruptcies. Since then he gained civil litigation experience in areas such as premises liability, automobile accident, construction liability, employment wage theft, real estate, and contracts. Those experiences helped Michael decide that he wanted to narrow his practice and focus on helping clients who were injured through no fault of their own. Since then he has proudly helped individuals and families navigate truly difficult situations.
