Gilberto “Gil” Garcia is a bilingual Colorado native of Mexican decent, born in Grand Junction, Colorado raised in Fruita and Montrose, CO. Graduating in 2010, Gil left Montrose to attend Colorado Mesa University for General Studies. Then, in 2012, Gil decided to make Denver his home by transferring to Metro State University to pursue a degree in Biochemistry with a minor in Chemistry with a Criminalistics concentration. While at Metro, Gil was and continues to be a member of the Society of Leadership and Success (an honor society), as well as a leader in a group known as Destino a non-profit Christian organization focused around latinx students on campus. He was part of two nuclear forensic research projects with the head of the department of chemistry at Metro, as well as participating in other groups at the university. After 3 years of study in Metro, Gil took over ownership and management of his own drug and alcohol testing business in Denver, Colorado, closing it in December of 2018 to pursue other interests and opportunities. He has a diverse understanding of the workforce from Kitchen, physical labor, banking, laboratorial, office management and administration, rideshare and even entertainment when pursuing acting for a short time in his life.

On his down time, Gil likes to be involved in his community, spending time with his family and friends, hiking, exercising, singing, tarot, music, basketball, traveling, being involved in the LGBTQ community, and meeting new people from different walks of life.

As an Intake Consultant, Gil enjoys greatly the opportunity to help potential clients in any way possible as well as the opportunity to grow in both experience and knowledge.
