Montano v. Ricoh USA, Inc.

On August 23, 2018, we filed a Complaint on behalf of George Montano, a Ricoh employee who was “coached” by his supervisors to perjure himself in order to avoid jury duty in the Michael Blagg murder trial. In Colorado, coercing an employee to lie under oath is illegal and results in triple damages and attorney’s fees. Mr. Montano refused to commit perjury, and as a result, his employer wrote him up twice for petty matters and took all of his job duties away from him. Our lawsuit against Ricoh alleges wrongful termination and retaliation in violation of state and federal laws.
