Recently, the sports world, as well as the country as a whole, was hit by a shocking scandal involving racism, bigotry, and an overall sense of sadness.
The (now former) owner of the Los Angeles Clippers was audiotaped expressing unbelievably racist comments. His opinions on race and association with black people were even more prominent considering he employs a team of 80% African Americans.
