Ms. Alverson specializes in Workers Compensation and Social Security.  She received her B.A. in 2002 from the University of Denver in Denver, Colorado. In 2005, Ms. Alverson received her J.D., cum laude, from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego, California. During law school, Ms. Alverson received Witkin awards for Real Estate Transactions and Commercial Law and was honored on the National Dean's list for academic excellence in 2003, 2004, and 2005. Prior to joining Sawaya, Rose & Kaplan, P.C., Ms. Alverson practiced with Dworkin, Chambers, Williams, York, Benson & Evans, P.C., in Denver, Colorado specializing in Workers' Compensation and Insurance defense.  Previously, Ms. Alverson practiced in San Diego, California with the law firm of McCarthy & Holthus, L.L.P., specializing in residential mortgage foreclosure prosecution.  Ms. Alverson is licensed in California and Colorado.
