Kristina J. Vasold
Kristina Vasold was born in 1979 in Saginaw, Michigan. She grew up in Saginaw until her family decided to move to a little desert town in Nevada when she was in high school. She graduated high school in 1998 and started her college education at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Ever since Kristina was little she wanted to attend school at Michigan State University as her grandfather did, therefore she transferred to MSU and completed her degree in Accounting.
Enjoying her time at Michigan State so much, Kristina attended law school there as well. She had interests in several areas of law, and joined the Tax Clinic to help low income taxpayers with their claims with the Internal Revenue Service. She also gave presentations to MSU students on how to file their own taxes. After graduation from law school in 2007, Kristina was drawn to the beautiful scenery of Colorado and began working with The Sawaya Law firm that year.
She specializes in assisting people with their Social Security and Veterans Disability appeals. She is a member of the Colorado Bar Association, the National Organization of Social Security Claimant’s Representatives, and the National Organization of Veteran’s Advocates.
On the weekends you can find Kristina exploring the mountains with her dog.
